Lakeland Hair Stylist Michael Rose will attend the 2010 Mrs. America pageant in Tuscon, Arizona Aug. 31 through Sept. 7 as he helps Mrs. Florida America Kellie Lightbourne prepare for the competition.

Lightbourne, a 35-year-old Tampa resident, was crowned Mrs. Florida America on May 16.

Michael Rose Hair Designs serves as the official salon to the Mrs. Florida pageant. He has been involved with the pageant industry since 1975 and is a certified pageant judge through the judging school of Barbara Kelley, an internationally known pageant expert.

Rose helps contestants prepare for the interview process and onstage presentation. He coaches women in every aspect of pageant preparedness, from hair and makeup styles that accentuate each individual’s most flattering facial features, to confidence and walking properly onstage.
