Mrs. America and Mrs. Galaxy International will attend the 2011 Hair for Hope event at the Lakeland hair salon of Michael Rose Hair Designs Oct. 13.

Hair for Hope is a charity cut-a-thon to benefit women battling cancer. Donors are sought to donate at least 8 inches of hair for Pantene Beautiful Lengths, a charity that makes wigs from the hair and distributes them for free through American Cancer Society wig banks nationwide.
