Fiery Hues- Never a palette to fall out of style, bold corals, mangoes and reds are especially en vogue this season.

Neutrals- What’s more pretty and professional than a pearly neutral? Not to mention classic and subtle for formal occasions.

Grays- Generating tons of buzz this year, this usually drab color actually looks fab on nails.

Light & Pretty- No surprise here. Sweet shades of pastels are a necessity for spring, with this season’s winning hues appearing to be soft yellows, lilacs and mints.

Jewel Tones- Defying spring’s routinely soft color palette, jewel tones are a fantastic way to make a beautiful, bold fashion statement.

Now that you’re in the know on the hottest colors of the season, let’s really amp up your nail fashion. Consider those cuticles an empty canvas and get creative!

Touch of Metallics- It’s always the right time to add a little shine. Once the base coat is applied, dollop a bit of gold or silver metallic polish in whatever fashion you’d like. Line the edge of your nails or paint a bold stripe down the center. Especially popular as of late, cover your ring finger nails in your metallic of choice, painting the others in a matte shade.

Two Toned- Caught in between two fabulous colors and can’t decide? Trend followers aren’t forced to choose! Two-toned manicures are gaining major buzz, but please, refer to the color wheel when selecting your hues. Make sure the shades are complimentary, or one is a neutral (maybe a bright coral with a creamy polish.) Divide the nail horizontally or vertically with color or sweep across the nail line with the lighter shade.

Other industry trends include polish with flecks of vibrant colors (OPI offers a wonderful selection) and nails filed in a daring claw-like shape.

Why not try some of this cuticle couture for yourself? Schedule an appointment with nail expert Sean today to pamper, polish and add some serious edge to your finger tips.
